Marcus Velleius Paterculus

Marcus Velleius Paterculus (s. 19 SM – s. 31 M), juga disebut sebagai Velleius (/vɛˈliːəs, -ˈleɪəs/), adalah seorang sejarawan Romawi. Historiae buatannya ditulis dalam gaya yang sangat retorik, menyoroti periode dari akhir Perang Troya sampai kematian Livia pada 29 M, tetapi sangat berguna untuk periode dari kematian Julius Caesar pada 44 SM sampai kematian Augustus pada 14 SM.
