BMW Seri 7 (E38)
BMW Seri 7 (E38) adalah seri keluarga BMW 7 Series yang diproduksi tahun 1995 sampai 2001. Di awal 1988, pengembangan generasi ketiga seri 7 dimulai dengan kodenama "Entwicklung 99". Tahun 1989 sampai 1990 model bodi selesai, kemudian desain konsep Boyke Boyer dipilih dan menuju bentuk produksi dengan insinyur. Tahun 1991, desain final produksi selesai dan tanggal 27 April 1993, paten desain selesai bersamaan dengan prototipenya. Bulan Mei 1994 Seri 7 E38 diluncurkan. Produksi mulai 17 Februari 1994.[4]
