Lucas Maler dikenal sebagai Lucas Cranach Tua (bahasa Jerman: Lucas Cranach der Ältere pengucapan bahasa Jerman: [ˈluːkas ˈkʁaːnax dɛɐ̯ ˈʔɛltəʁə], lahir 4 Oktober 1472 di Kronach, Franken Hulu (Jerman) dan meninggal 16 Oktober 1553 di Weimar (Jerman) merupakan seorang pelukis dan pengukir pada masa Renaisans Jerman.

Nama keluarganya berasal dari kota asalnya. Ia adalah ayahanda Lucas Cranach Muda (1515 - 1586). Ia telah dianggap sebagai seniman Jerman paling sukses di masanya.[1]

Gereja Lutheran memperingati Cranach sebagai seorang Kristen yang hebat pada tanggal 6 April bersama dengan Dürer,[2] dan kemungkinan Matthias Grünewald atau Burgkmair.[3] Kalender liturgi Gereja Episkopal (A.S.) menghormati Cranach, Dürer dan Grünewald pada tanggal 5 Agustus.
