Universitas Hampton

Hampton University (juga HU, atau Home by the Sea) adalah sebuah universitas yang dulunya khusus orang kulit hitam yang terletak di Hampton, Virginia, Amerika Serikat. Universitas tersebut didirikan pada 1868 oleh para pemimpin kulit hitam dan kulit putih dari American Missionary Association setelah Perang Saudara Amerika untuk memberikan pendidikan kepada orang merdeka. Pada 1878, universita tersebut memberikan sebuah program untuk mengajari orang Amerika Asli, yang berlangsung sampai 1923.
