Ekonomi kesejahteraan
Ekonomi kesejahteraan adalah sebuah cabang ekonomi yang menggunakan teknik mikro-ekonomi untuk mengevaluasi kesejahteraan pada tingkat agregat (seluruh ekonomi).[1] Sebuah metodologi khas dimulai dengan membawa (atau mengasumsikan) fungsi kesejahteraan sosial, yang kemudian dapat digunakan untuk menentukan peringkat alokasi sumber daya ekonomi dalam hal kesejahteraan sosial. Fungsi-fungsi semacam itu biasanya meliputi pengukuran efisiensi dan ekuitas ekonomi, meskipun upaya paling terkini untuk mengkuantifikasi kesejahteraan ekonomi meliputi serangkaian ukuran termasuk kebebasan ekonomi (seperti dalam pendekatan kapabilitas).
Bidang ekonomi kesejahteraan tersebut dikaitkan dengan dua teorema fundamental.
