Senior Sachs
Senior Sachs (Ibrani: שניאור זק״ש, translit. Shneur Zaks; 17 Juni 1816 – 18 November 1892), juga dikenal sebagai Or shani (אור שני),[1] adalah seorang penulis dan cendekiawan Ibrani Rusia-Prancis.

Kehidupan awal dan pendidikan sunting
Senior Sachs lahir dari sebuah keluarga Yahudi dari Kaidany, Kegubernuran Kovno.[2] Ia dibesarkan di Zhagory, dimana ayahnya, Tzemaḥ Sachs, diangkat menjadi rabi saat Senior berumur satu setengah tahun. Ia belajar Ibrani dan Talmud di bawah bimbingan ayahnya.[3]
