Penyair perang
Penyair perang adalah seorang penyair yang terlibat dalam sebuah perang dan menulis tentang pengalaman mereka, atau non-kombatan yang menulis puisi tentang perang. Meskipun istilah tersebut ditujukan khusus kepada orang-orang yang bertugas pada Perang Dunia Pertama,[1] istilah tersebut dapat ditujukan kepadas penyair dari kewarganegaraan manapun yang menulis tentang perang manapun, termasuk Iliad karya Homer, dari sekitar abad ke-8 SM serta puisi Perang Saudara Amerika, Perang Saudara Spanyol, Perang Krimea dan perang lainnya.
