Nilus dari Rossano

Nilus Muda, juga disebut Neilos dari Rossano (bahasa Italia: Nilo di Rossano, bahasa Yunani: Όσιος Νείλος, ο εκ Καλαβρίας[1]; 910 – 27 December 1005)[2] merupakan seorang biarawan, abbas, dan pendiri Monastisisme Italia di Italia selatan. Ia ditahbiskan sebagai santo di gereja-gereja Ortodoks Timur[3] dan Katolik Roma, hari perayaannya jatuh pada tanggal 26 September baik di Kalender Bizantium dan Martirologi Roma.

Shortly before his repose, Nilus designated that as the place where his monastery was to be definitively established. This monastery, of Grottaferrata, was for long faithful to Ortodoks."
