Mual (bahasa Prancis: La Nausée) adalah sebuah novel debut filosofis karya filsuf eksistensialis Jean-Paul Sartre, yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1938[1][2]

Novel ini berlatar di 'Bouville' (homofon dari Boue-ville, atau, 'Kota lumpur') sebuah kota yang mirip dengan Le Havre.[3] Novel ini terdiri dari pemikiran dan pengalaman subjektif — dalam format buku harian pribadi — milik Antoine Roquentin, seorang intelektual melankolis dan terisolasi secara sosial yang tinggal di Bouville seolah-olah bertujuan menyelesaikan biografi tokoh sejarah. Keterasingan dan kekecewaan Roquentin yang semakin meningkat bertepatan dengan pengalaman jijik yang semakin intens, yang dia sebut mual, di mana orang-orang dan hal-hal di sekitarnya tampaknya kehilangan semua kualitas yang mereka kenal dan dapat dikenali. Judul asli novel Sartre sebelum diterbitkan adalah Melancholia.[4]
