Nakuul Mehta
Nakuul Mehta (lahir 17 Januari 1983)[1] adalah seorang aktor televisi India yang dikenal karena perannya sebagai Aditya Harish Kumar di Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Pahara Pyaara dan Shivaay Singh Oberoi di Ishqbaaaz.[2]

Hidup dan keluarga sunting
Mehta lahir di Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Dia turun dari Raja Prithviraj Chauhan dari dinasti Rajput Chauhan dari Mewar.[3] Ayahnya, Pratap Singh Mehta, adalah seorang veteran Perang Indo-Pakistan pada tahun 1971, sementara kakek besar Mehta Laxmilal Mehta adalah kepala wilayah Mewar di militer.[4] Ia menyelesaikan Master of Commerce dari Universitas Mumbai. Ia juga dilatih dalam bentuk tarian yang berbeda seperti Jazz, Hip hop, break, folk, salsa dan kontemporer. Dia adalah penari Ballroom terlatih yang telah belajar di bawah guru Ballroom terkemuka India dan koreografer Bollywood Sandip Soparrkar . Dia mewakili negara bagian Maharashatra dalam kejuaraan AIDSF (All India Dance Sport Federation) pada bulan Juni 2011 dan peraih medali perak di Latin Ballroom Category (rumba) dan merupakan pemenang medali emas dalam kategori Ballroom Standar (waltz).[5] Pada tahun 2012 dia menikah dengan Jankee Parekh dan dia adalah seorang penyanyi dengan profesi. Dia memiliki 32 film di industri.[6]

Mehta menjadi terkenal dengan peran Aditya Harish Kumar dalam acara hit Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.[7]
Dia melakukan iklan, video musik, dan dikaitkan dengan teater untuk waktu yang lama. Setelah menyulap karier modelingnya, ia memulai debutnya di Bollywood dengan film 'Haal E Dil'.[8] Ia juga pernah muncul dalam film pendek Avant Garde, yang dipamerkan di festival film di seluruh dunia.[9] Pada tahun 2015, ia host India Got Talent musim 6.[10]
Dia terakhir terlihat di serial web orisinil baru I Do not Watch TV. Pertunjukan tersebut dipublikasikan di platform konten online, Arre. Diproduksi oleh Timbuktu Films, ini adalah satire di industri TV India dan juga membintangi kritikus film Bollywood Rajeev Masand.[11][12][13] Serial ini menampilkan perjuangan sehari-hari para aktor TV secara satir. Selain Mehta, seri web juga menampilkan aktor TV populer seperti Karan Patel, Rithvik Dhanjani, Kritika Kamra, Drashti Dhami, Karan Wahi[14]
