Bahasa Proto-Tai atau bahasa Tai Purba adalah bahasa purba yang disusun kembali (leluhur bersama) semua rumpun bahasa Tai, termasuk Lao, Shan, Tai Lü, Tai Dam, Ahom, Thai Utara, Thai Baku, Bouyei, dan Zhuang modern. Bahasa Proto-Tai tidak dibuktikan secara langsung dengan teks yang masih ada, tetapi telah disusun kembali menggunakan metode perbandingan.
