Hiromasa Yonebayashi
Hiromasa Yonebayashi (米林 宏昌, Yonebayashi Hiromasa, lahir 10 Juli 1973 di Nonoichi, Ishikawa, Jepang),[1] nama panggilan Maro (麻呂), adalah seorang animator dan sutradara Jepang, sebelumnya bekerja di Studio Ghibli. Setelah debut penyutradaraannya dengan Studio Ghibli (The Secret World of Arrietty), ia menjadi sutradara termuda dari film teater yang diproduksi oleh studio tersebut.[2] Dia dinominasikan untuk Academy Award untuk Film Animasi Terbaik pada tahun 2015 untuk film keduanya, When Marnie Was There.

Bersama produser Ghibli Yoshiaki Nishimura, Yonebayashi meninggalkan Studio Ghibli pada bulan Desember 2014 setelah 18 tahun, dan mendirikan Studio Ponoc pada bulan Juni 2015. Film pertamanya sebagai sutradara di Studio Ponoc adalah Mary and the Witch's Flower.
Dia belajar di Kanazawa College of Art, di mana ia mengambil jurusan desain periklanan.[1]
