Gempa bumi Galilea 1837, juga sering disebut gempa Safed, adalah gempa bumi yang mengguncang kawasan Galilea pada tanggal 1 Januari. Pada masa itu, wilayah tempat gempa ini terjadi adalah bagian dari Kesultanan Utsmaniyah yang berada di bawah pendudukan Mesir (di bawah kepemimpinan Ibrahim Pasha) seusai Perang Mesir-Utsmaniyah (1831–1833).

Menurut hasil penelitian tahun 1977 yang diterbitkan di Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, episentrum gempa ini terletak di sebelah utara kota Safed dan kekuatan gempanya tercatat sebesar 6,25–6,5, tetapi pada 1997 seismolog Nicholas Ambraseys berpendapat bahwa magnitudonya mungkin lebih besar. Peristiwa ini dicatat dengan baik oleh misionaris, arkeolog, dan penulis dari abad ke-19 William McClure Thomson.
