This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code mr to include articles in Category:Articles containing bahasa Marathi-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |bahasa Marathi |mr}}). For example: {{Lang |mr |some text in bahasa Marathi}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="mr">. Also available is {{Lang-mr |some text in bahasa Marathi}} which displays as bahasa Marathi: some text in bahasa Marathi.
It is used by {{mr icon}} and {{Link language|mr}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with bahasa Marathi-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=mr |name=bahasa Marathi}}).
