Survivor (film)
Survivor adalah film Amerika Serikat-Inggris produksi tahun 2015 bergere thriller spionase yang disutradarai oleh James McTeigue[2] dan ditulis skenarionya oleh Philip Shelby. Film ini dibintangi oleh Milla Jovovich, Pierce Brosnan dan Dylan McDermott.[3] Survivor dirilis untuk publik Amerika Serikat pada tanggal 29 Mei 2015 dalam bentuk rilis terbatas melaluivideo on demand. Setelah itu, juga dirilis di Inggris pada 5 Juni 2015.[4]

Latar belakang sunting
Proses produksi film Survivor dimulai pada tanggal 20 Januari 2014 di London.[2][3][5] Pengambilan gambar berlokasi pula di London untuk lima pekan, sebelum akhirnya berpindah di Sofia, Bulgaria selama tiga pekan.[6] Emma Thompson menerima peran dan ditampilkan sebagai material promo untuk film ini, namun dia menarik diri pada saat-saat terakhir menjelang proses produksi.[7]
Alchemy memperoleh hak distribusi film ini untuk Amerika Serikat pada 20 Maret 2015.[8] Film ini dirilis secara terbatas melalui format video on demand di Amerika Serikat pada 29 Mei 2015.[4] Kemudian, Lionsgate merilis pula di Inggris pada 5 Juni 2015.[4][9][10][11][12][13][14]Survivor dirili dalam format DVD and Blu-ray di Amerika Serikat pada 23 Juni 2015, dan juga di Kanada dan beberapa negara lainnya, pada 7 Juli 2015.[15][16]
