Robert Southey

Robert Southey (/ˈsaʊði/ atau /ˈsʌði/ 12 Agustus 1774 – 21 Maret 1843) adalah seorang penyair aliran Romansa asal Inggris, salah satu orang yang disebut "Lake Poets", dan Poet Laureate selama 30 tahun dari 1813 sampai ia meninggal pada 1843. Meskipun ketenarannya lama disalip oleh orang-orang sezamannya dan teman-temannya William Wordsworth dan Samuel Taylor Coleridge, karya Southey masih meraih beberapa ketenaran.
