Pohon Kebebasan
Pohon Kebebasan (1646–1775) adalah sebuah pohon terkenal yang berdiri di Boston, Massachusetts dekat Boston Common, pada tahun-tahun sebelum Revolusi Amerika. Pada 1765, para kolonis di Boston melakukan tindakan pertama melawan pemerintah Inggris di pohon tersebut. Pohon tersebut menjadi titik pawai untuk pemberontakan terhadap pemerintahan Inggris atas koloni-koloni Amerika Serikat, dan tanah di sekitarnya dikenal sebagai Balai Kebebasan. Pohon Kebebasan diruntuhkan pada Agustus 1775 oleh para Loyalis pimpinan Nathaniel Coffin Jr.[1] atau Job Williams.[2]
