Philippe Cuénoud

Philippe Cuénoud (lahir 1968) adalah ahli entomologi dan ahli botani Swiss yang tinggal di Jenewa, Swiss^[1] dan Papua Nugini,^[2]. Ia memiliki spesialisasi terkait Psocoptera serta terkait filogeni tanaman.^[3]

Cuénoud terlibat dalam proyek Ibisca ("Investigating the Biodiversity of Soil and Canopy Arthropods"), yang dipimpin oleh Bruno Corbara, Maurice Leponce, Hector Barrios dan Yves Basset (dengan dukungan awal dari Edward O. Wilson). Hal ini memberikan data baru tentang keanekaragaman hayati hutan hujan San Lorenzo di pantai Karibia Panama (sebuah artikel oleh tim Ibisca, yang muncul di sampul majalah bergengsi Science, memperkirakan jumlah total spesies artropoda sekitar 25'000 ^[4]).
