Telah saya ubah menjadi "Sejauh ini, sistem pemasukan, pendaratan, dan penurunan dari wahana pendarat Mars telah berhasil memasuki atmosfer Mars". Yang dimaksud di sini ialah sistem "entry, descent, and landing" yang dimiliki oleh wahana "Mars lander".

• "Tujuan jangka panjang adalah mengembangkan pesawat terbang Mars dengan pilot." Tujuannya siapa atau dari apa?

Telah saya ubah menjadi "Tujuan jangka panjang dari program ini adalah mengembangkan pesawat terbang Mars yang dikendarai pilot". Merujuk pada referensi ini, disebutkan bahwa tujuan jangka panjang dari program ini ialah mengembangkan "Pesawat Mars yang dikendarai oleh pilot".

Keseluruhan kalimat tersebut telah saya parafasekan supaya terbaca dengan lebih alami, menjadi "Pendarat Mars terperinci pertama yang dikontrak oleh NASA adalah pendarat buatan Ford/Philco Aeronutronic pada awal 1960-an, ketika diketahui bahwa perkiraan terbaik untuk kerapatan atmosfer Mars ternyata jauh lebih padat daripada yang diungkapkan oleh pengukuran Mariner IV pada bulan Juli 1965". "Perkiraan terbaik" menurut saya perlu tetap disebutkan untuk mendeskripsikan signifikansi dari overestimate kerapatan atmosfer Mars yang dilakukan oleh NASA sebelum pendaratan Mariner IV terhadap pengembangan pesawat Mars ini.
