Metode Kodály
Metode Kodály, juga disebut Konsep Kodály, adalah sebuah pendekatan pendidikan musik yang dikembangkan di Hungaria pada pertengahan abad ke-20 oleh Zoltán Kodály. Filsafatnya mengenai pendidikan menjadi inspirasi bagi metode ini, yang kemudian dikembangkan selama beberapa tahun oleh rekan-rekannya.
Meski sebenarnya bukan metode pendidikan, ajaran-ajarannya berada dalam kerangka kerja yang menyenangkan dan mendidik yang dibangun kuat pada teori musik dasar dan notasi musik dalam berbagai bentuk verbal dan tertulis. Tujuan utama Kodály adalah menciptakan cinta abadi terhadap musik dalam diri pelajar dan merasa bahwa sudah menjadi tugas sekolah anak untuk menyediakan elemen pendidikan yang vital ini. Sejumlah metode pengajaran ciptaan Kodály mencakup pemakaian bahasa tangan solfège, notasi pendek musik (notasi stik), dan solmisasi ritme (verbalisasi).
