Menumpang

Menumpang adalah tindakan menduduki wilayah lahan atau bangunan yang ditinggalkan atau tak diduduki, biasanya tempat tinggal, dimana penumpang tak memiliki, menyewa atau memiliki ijin sah untuk memakainya.

Pada 2004, penulis Robert Neuwirth menyatakan bahwa terdapat satu miliar penumpang di dunia.^[1]

Menumpang dapat dikaitkan dengan gerakan-gerakan politik, seperti anarkis, otonomis atau sosialis.^[2]
