Kim Kwang-kyu (lahir 8 Desember 1967) adalah aktor Korea Selatan.[1] Dia memulai debut aktingnya pada tahun 1999 dalam film Dr. K, arahan sutradara Kwak Kyung-taek yang juga berasal dari Busan, kemudian Kyung-taek memasukkannya ke dalam peran kecil yang mengesankan sebagai guru yang melakukan kekerasan fisik dalam film box-office tahun 2001, Friend.[2] Ia terus berakting dalam televisi dan film sebagai aktor pendukung, terlebih dalam Couple or Trouble (2006), The Secret of Coocoo Island (2008), Scent of a Woman (2011), dan I Can Hear Your Voice (2013).[3][4][5] Dia juga muncul di acara realitas I Live Alone (sejak 2013) dan Three Meals a Day (2015).[6][7][8]

Kehidupan awal sunting
Kim Kwang-gyu lahir pada 8 Desember 1967, di Yongdo-gu, Busan. Sebagai seorang pelajar penerima beasiswa militer, ia lulus dari sebuah Sekolah Menengah Atas di Busan dan menjalani lima tahun sebagai petugas angkatan laut di kesatuan tentara nasional. Pada tahun 1993, dia tertarik ke bidang akting dan sangat tertarik pada kedalaman hidupnya. Dia telah bekerja sebagai sopir taksi di Busan sejak tahun 1992, Setelah belajar untuk masa depan, dia diperkenalkan pada dunia peran pada usia akhir. Setelah menamatkan akademi peran, ia pergi ke Seoul untuk mengikuti audisi dan berkuliah di Korea National University of Broadcasting and Communications dan kemudian lulus.
Karier sunting
Pada tahun 1999, ia membuat debutnya pada film "Dr. K" dalam relasi dengan sutradara Kwak Kyung Taek, yang pada saat itu merupakan seorang profesor di Departemen Teater dan Film di Busan Arts University. Kim melanjutkan perannya baik di televisi dan film sebagai pemeran pendukung, yang terkenal di Couple or Trouble (2006), The Secret of Coocoo Island (2008), Scent of a Woman (2011), dan I Can Hear Your Voice (2013).[9][10][11] Ia juga tampil dalam acara realitas I Live Alone (sejak 2013) dan Three Meals a Day (2015).[12][13][14]
