John Nevil Maskelyne
John Nevil Maskelyne (22 Desember 1839 – 18 Mei 1917) adalah seorang pesulap Inggris dan penemu toilet berbayar, bersama dengan perangkat era Victorian lainnya. Berkarya dengan pesulap George Alfred Cooke dan David Devant, beberapa ilusinya masih ditampilkan sampai sekarang.

Maskelyne lahir di Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, Inggris.
Keluarga sunting
Maskelyne adalah ayah dari satu putri dan dua putra,[1] yang salah satu diantaranya adalah Nevil Maskelyne, dan kakek dari Jasper Maskelyne, keduanya merupakan pesulap terkenal
Maskelyne mengklaim bahwa ia merupakan keturunan dari Nevil Maskelyne (1732–1811), seorang Astronomer Royal, tetapi hal tersebut diragukan kebenarannya.[2][3]
