Ia dikenal sebagai pemeran pembunuh psikopat asal Rusia, Oksana Astankova / Villanelle dalam seri Killing Eve (2018–sekarang) di BBC America. Ia memenangi British Academy Television Award for Best Actress atas pemeranan tokoh tersebut. Ia juga memerankan Chloe Gemell dalam seri drama komedi My Mad Fat Diary (2013) di E4 dan Elizabeth of York dalam miniseri The White Princess (2017) di Starz.
