Jean Meslier

Jean Meslier (bahasa Prancis: [melje]; juga Mellier; 15 Juni 1664 – 17 Juni 1729)^[1] adalah seorang imam Katolik Prancis. Setelah kematiannya, ia diketahui menulis sebuah esai filsafat berbentuk buku yang mempromosikan ateisme dan materialisme. Disebut oleh pengarang sebagai "pernyataan"nya kepada para anggota parokinya, teks tersebut mengkritik dan menentang seluruh agama.
