Zakarias Retor

Zacharias dari Mytilene (s. 465, Gaza – setelah 536), juga dikenal sebagai Zacharias Scholasticus atau Zacharias Rhetor, adalah seorang uskup dan sejarawan gerejawi.

Kehidupan Zacharias dari Mytilene hanya dapat ditemukan pada sedikit laporan pada sumber-sumber kontemporer (catatan-catatannya juga sebagian berseberangan. Contohnya, beberapa penulis Siria menyebut "Melitene" alih-alih "Mytilene"). Zacharias lahir dan dibesarkan dalam sebuah keluarga Kristen di dekat Gaza
