Bitter Harvest (film 2017)
Bitter Harvest adalah film Kanada produksi tahun 2017 bergenre drama romantik yang berlatar Soviet Ukraina pada awal dasawarsa 1930-an. Film ini disutradarai oleh George Mendeluk berdasarkan skenario asli yang ditulis oleh Richard Bachynsky Hoover. Beberapa bintang yang tampil dalam film ini antara lain Max Irons, Samantha Barks, Barry Pepper, Tamer Hassan, dan Terence Stamp.[1] It was shot on location in Ukraine. The film has been acquired by Roadside Attractions for a 1st quarter 2017 US release.[2] Bitter Harvest dijadwalkan rilis pada 24 Februari 2017 oleh Roadside Attractions, B&H Film Distribution Company, dan D Films Canada.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Pengambilan gambar ini berlokasi di Ukraine, mulai 15 November 2013 dengan melibatkan beberapa bintang antara lain Barry Pepper, Tamer Hassan, dan Terence Stamp. Penyutradaraan dipercayakan kepada George Mendeluk berdasarkan skenario asli yang ditulis oleh Richard Bachynsky-Hoover. Produser film ini adalah Ian Ihnatowycz, Stuart Baird, George Mendeluk, Chad Barager dan Jaye Gazeley. Dennis Davidson, Peter D. Graves dan William J. Immerman mendampingi sebagai produser eksekutif, di samping juga Richard Bachynsky-Hoover (Ukraina).[9] Pada 5 Februari 2014 Variety melaporkan bahwa pengambilan gambar selesai di Kiev.[1] Awal 2014, posproduksi dilanjutkan di London's Pinewood Studios, menggunakan tank bawah air yang biasa digunakan dalam film James Bond, Skyfall. Editor Stuart Baird dan tim dari SFX bekerja keras dalam penyelesaian film ini. Film ini dijadwalkan dirilis untuk publik Amerika Serikat pada 24 Februari 2017. "D" Films Canada akan merilis film Bitter Harvest pada 3 Maret 2017 di Kanada.[1][10]
