=== Geographical Mistakes ===
''Beverly Hills Chihuahua'' is set in a geographically impossible Mexico: In the film, Chloe, the main character, is abducted near the border and taken via automobile to Mexico City in just a few hours. In reality, it is a 50 hour drive from Tijuana to Mexico City. Tijuana does not have a train station, and niether does Puerto Vallarta, where the dogs catch a train in the story. The Puerto Vallarta Train Station scenes were actually filmed in Guadalajara. The Chihuahua Scenes were filmed in Puerto Vallarta, the Sonora Desert, California and Churubusco Studios in Mexico City. The market in Mexico City was shot in Guadalajara, and the inside of the Chapultepec Castle was filmed in the Spanish Casino, in downtown Mexico City. The K-9 unit training facility in Puerto Vallarta is also non-existant.
