== Iklim ==
Meskipun Hachinohe terletak hampir di ujung utara [[Honshu|pulau Honshu]], iklimnya tergolong sejuk sepanjang tahun. dengan sedikit salju di musim dingin dan hangat yang panjang di musim panas.
== Transportasi ==
Transportasi umum berupa [[bus]], [[taksi]], [[kereta listrik]], [[kapal feri]] (tujuan Hokkaido), dan si "supercepat" [[Shinkansen]].
Hachinohe memilik [[pelabuhan]] laut yg cukup besar, merupakan pelabuhan laut terbesar di Jepang setelah [[Yokohama]]. Jika Yokohama terkenal dengan pelabuhan barang-barang [[ekspor]]-[[impor]]nya, maka Hachinohe terkenal dengan produksi ikan terbesar di Jepang.
