With due respect, I write to express my disappointment towards the attitude of your organization concerning my lost luggage . Before now, I hold Turkish Airline in high esteem as the best in the industry but my experience of the past months has given me a lot of concern about how your treat your passengers.
May I use this opportunity to remind you that on …..date August 26, 2012, I took a Turkish flight from Misurata, Libya via Istanbul to Jakarta, Indonesia. I paid the fare and luggage expensive. On arrival at Soekarno Hartta International airport, Jakarta, Indonesia, I couldn't find a luggage containing my personal valuables. This I duly reported to your office at the airport and filled the notification of lost form as instructed. Then, I was told in a few days my luggage will be returned to me.
I have waited patiently for the past months hoping that my luggage would be returned to me as promised but until date , nothing has actually happened. What is shocking to me is the silence your organization has maintained over the issue for almost five months. It is unprofessional and disappointing to abandon me to my fate . How do I explain to the world that a luggage entrusted in your care got lost and five months after there has not been any reasonable explanation as to what happened to my luggage.
Your action or inaction has caused me untold hardship and psychological trauma. I am therefore giving your organization two weeks to provide me with a reasonable explanation to what happened to my luggage and to return it to me accordingly. If no reasonable course of action is taken on this issue after the expiration of two weeks, I would be forced to embark on any legal actions deem necessary against your organization.
I hope that this issue can be resolved amicably and soon.
