[[Pra-produksi]]nya dimulai di [[East Los Angeles College]] pada Oktober 2013, dengan [[fotografi prinsipal]]nya dimulai pada Mei 2014 di [[Detroit]], [[Michigan]], dengan pemfilman tambahan di [[Chicago]], [[Illinois]]. Pemfilmannya dilakukan pada Desember 2014. ''Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'' dijadwalkan dirilis di Amerika Serikat pada 25 Maret 2016, dalam bentuk 2D, [[film 3D|3D]], dan [[IMAX 3D]].
