Irfan Shahîd
Irfan Arif Shahîd (bahasa Arab: عرفان عارف شهيد ; 15 Januari 1926 – 9 November 2016),[1] lahir sebagai Erfan Arif Qa'war (عرفان عارف قعوار), adalah seorang cendekiawan dalam bidang kajian Oriental. Dari 1982 sampai kematiannya sebagai profesor emeritus di Universitas Georgetown,[2] ia menjadi Profesor Sastra Arab dan Islam Oman. Shahîd juga merupakan anggota Medieval Academy of America sejak 2012.[3]
