Frederick Joseph Ward (30 Desember 1942 – 8 Mei 2022) adalah seorang aktor dan produser Amerika Serikat. Dimulai dengan peran dalam sebuah film televisi Italia pada tahun 1973, Ward memiliki karir yang panjang dan beragam, termasuk film-film seperti Escape from Alcatraz, Southern Comfort, The Right Stuff, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Tremors, Henry & June, The Players, Swing Shift, dan Short Cuts.

Ward lahir sebagai Freddie Joe Ward di San Diego, California. Dia adalah bagian dari keturunan Cherokee.[1] Sebelum bertindak, Ward menghabiskan tiga tahun di Angkatan Udara Amerika Serikat. Dia juga seorang petinju (patah hidungnya tiga kali) dan bekerja sebagai penebang pohon di Alaska,[2][3] petugas kebersihan, dan juru masak pesanan. Ia belajar akting di Herbert Berghof Studio New York setelah bertugas di Angkatan Udara AS. Saat tinggal di Roma, ia menjuluki film-film Italia ke dalam bahasa Inggris dan muncul dalam film-film karya sutradara neorealis Roberto Rossellini.
