Louisa Rose Allen (lahir 29 April 1989), lebih dikenal dengan nama panggungnya Foxes, adalah seorang penyanyi, penulis lagu dan aktris Britania Raya.[6] Vokalnya tampil dalam singel Zedd tahun 2012 bertajuk "Clarity", yang memuncaki di peringkat delaan dalam Billboard Hot 100 dan memenangkan penghargaan Grammy Award untuk kategori Best Dance Recording.

Album debut Foxes, Glorious, dirilis di Britania Raya pada tahun 2014 dan memiliki 20 singel teratas "Youth", "Let Go for Tonight" dan "Holding onto Heaven". Album keduanya, All I Need,[7] dirilis pada 5 Februari 2016. Album ini juga termasuk didalamnya berbagai singel seperti "Body Talk", "Better Love", "Amazing" dan "Cruel". Pada 20 Mei 2020, Foxes merilis singel terbarunya berjudul "Love Not Loving You" dan diikuti "Woman" yang dirilis pada 29 Juli 2020.

Kehidupan awal dan pendidikan sunting

Allen lahir di Southampton, Hampshire, dan dibesarkan di daerah Swaythling dan St Denys di kota tersebut. Dia bersekolah di St Denys Primary School, Cantell School, dan Eastleigh College.[8] Dia mulai menulis musik saat berusia 14 tahun dan mencapai final kompetisi bakat lokal pada tahun 2009.[8] Pada usia 18 tahun, dia mulai mempertimbangkan untuk kursus sebagai terapis kecantikan, namun adiknya membujuknya untuk pindah ke London untuk mengejar ambisi bernyanyinya.[9] Ia menjalani studi di the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance tapi tidak selesai, ia lebih suka menulis dan menampilkan musik daripada mempelajarinya.[10][11]

Pada 2013, Foxes muncul dalam kampanye iklan yang mempromosikan koleksi musim gugur / dingin pengecer Debenhams. Dia menyusun daftar putar untuk menemani pemutaran perdana London Fashion Week dari koleksi musim gugur / dingin Markus Lupfer pada tahun 2014, dan kemudian pada tahun itu mengiklankan jajaran sepatu lari Adidas's Energy Boost dari sepatu lari.
