Ernst II, Adipati Sachsen-Coburg dan Gotha

Ernest II (Jerman: Ernst August Karl Johann Leopold Alexander Eduard; 21 Juni 1818 – 22 Agustus 1893) adalah adipati yang memerintah dari Kadipaten Saxe-Coburg dan Gotha dari 1844 sampai kematiannya. Ernest lahir di Coburg sebagai anak tertua dari Ernest, Adipati Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld dan istrinya, Putri Louise dari Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg. Empat belas bulan kemudian, adik laki-lakinya, Pangeran Albert, yang menjadi pendamping Ratu Victoria, lahir. Ayah Ernest menjadi adipati Saxe-Coburg dan Gotha pada tahun 1826 melalui pertukaran wilayah.
