Kirik-kirik biru adalah spesies burung yang mempunyai paruh, berdarah panas, dan membiak dengan cara bertelur.

Karakteristik sunting

Kirik-kirik biru berukuran sekitar 23 cm. Burung dewasa ditandai dengan leher biru dan bulu ekor atas biru pucat. Bagian mahkota dan mantelnya berwarna coklat gelap. Adapun pada kirik-kirik biru remaja, mahkota dan mantelnya berwarna hijau.^[1]
