Sounds Good Feels Good adalah album studio kedua oleh band pop punk Australia 5 Seconds of Summer. Album ini dirilis di seluruh dunia oleh Capitol Records pada 23 Oktober 2015.[1] Album ini didahului dengan single "She's Kinda Hot" dan "Hey Everybody" dan EP yang menyertai sebelumnya.

Latar Belakang dan rilis sunting

Setelah merilis album debut mereka 5 Seconds of Summer dan album live mereka LiveSOS pada tahun 2014, 5 Seconds of Summer mengambil istirahat untuk liburan. Mereka terbang ke Los Angeles pada awal tahun 2015 untuk mulai menulis dan merekam apa yang menjadi album kedua mereka.[2][3] Pada tur utama mereka dimulai pada awal Mei, mereka mulai membawakan lagu baru berjudul "Permanent Vacation".[4] Pada 12 Agustus 2015 mereka mengumumkan judul dan cover art untuk album, dengan pre-order mulai tanggal 14 Agustus di setiap zona waktu. Setiap pre-order mendapat download instan dari lagu baru "She's Kinda Hot", "Fly Away",[5] "Jet Black Heart", "Money", dan "Hey Everybody!".

Single pertama album "She's Kinda Hot" dirilis pada tanggal 17 Juli 2015, dan video musik keluar pada awal Agustus. Single kedua "Hey Everybody!" dirilis 9 Oktober 2015 di seluruh dunia, dengan band ini tampil pada Alan Carr: Chatty Man sebagai promosi.[6]
