Rooney Mara
Patricia Rooney Mara /ˈmɛərə/ MAIR-ə[2] (lahir 17 April 1985)[1] adalah aktris Amerika Serikat. Ia terjun ke dunia perfilman pada tahun 2005, lalu membintang sejumlah film seperti Tanner Hall, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Social Network, dan Trash.

Pada tahun 2011, ia memerankan Lisbeth Salander, tokoh utama dalam The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo besutan David Fincher berdasarkan seri buku Millennium karya Stieg Larsson. Ia mendapat pujian luas atas penampilannya dan mendapatkan nominasi Academy Award for Best Actress dan Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. Pada tahun 2013, ia membintangi Side Effects, drama independen Ain't Them Bodies Saints, dan drama romansa fiksi ilmiah, Her. Pada tahun 2015, ia memenangi Best Actress Award di Festival Film Cannes 2015 atas perannya dalam film Carol.
Mara juga dikenal atas kegiatan amalnya. Ia mengawasi badan amal Uweza Foundation yang mendukung program pendidikan dan ekonomi untuk anak-anak dan keluarga di permukiman kumuh Kibera di Nairobi, Kenya, salah satu permukiman kumuh terbesar di Afrika.
