Lewis Wallace (lahir 10 April 1827 – meninggal 15 Februari 1905 pada umur 77 tahun) adalah seorang pengacara, jenderal Union dalam Perang Saudara Amerika, gubernur Teritorial New Mexico, politikus, diplomat, dan pengarang asal Indiana, Amerika Serikat. Diantara novel-novel dan biografi-biografinya, Wallace dikenal karena cerita petualangan sejarahnya, Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1880), sebuah novel berpenjualan terbaik yang disebut "buku Kristen paling berpengaruh dari abad kesembilan belas."[1]
