John Green (pengarang)
John Michael Green (lahir 24 Agustus 1977) adalah pengarang fiksi remaja, narablog video YouTube (vlogger), dan pencipta video-video pendidikan asal Amerika Serikat. Ia memenangkan Printz Award pada tahun 2006 atas novel pertamanya, Looking for Alaska,[1] dan novel terbarunya, The Fault in Our Stars, masuk posisi pertama di daftar The New York Times Best Seller pada Januari 2012. Adaptasi filmnya tahun 2014 langsung menempati posisi #1 sesaat setelah dirilis.[2] In 2014 Green was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world.[3]

Selain menjadi novelis, Green juga dikenal karena karya-karyanya di YouTube. Tahun 2007, ia meluncurkan saluran VlogBrothers bersama adiknya, Hank Green. Sejak itu, Green merintis beberapa acara seperti Project for Awesome dan VidCon dan menciptakan 11 seri dokumenter daring bersama adiknya seperti Crash Course, saluran pendidikan yang mengajarkan sastra, sejarah,ekonomi, dan sains.[4]
