The Orville
The Orville adalah serial drama komedi fiksi ilmiah Amerika Serikat[1][2][3] yang dibuat oleh dan dibintangi Seth MacFarlane. Serial ini ditayangkan perdana pada hari Minggu, 10 September 2017. MacFarlane dibintangi sebagai Ed Mercer, seorang perwira di garis Planetary Union tentang kapal ruang angkasa eksploratori. Setelah kariernya menurun setelah perceraiannya, ia diberikan kapal Orville sebagai perintah pertamanya, hanya untuk mengetahui bahwa mantan istrinya, Kelly Grayson (Adrianne Palicki), telah ditugaskan sebagai perwira pertamanya. Terinspirasi oleh beberapa sumber,[5] termasuk Star Trek dan The Twilight Zone, seri ini menceritakan kisah Mercer, Grayson, dan kru Orville ketika mereka memulai berbagai misi diplomatik dan eksplorasi.[6]
