Simon Beaufoy
Simon Beaufoy (lahir tahun 1967) merupakan seorang penulis naskah Britania Raya.[1] Ia lahir di Keighley, West Riding of Yorkshire, ia belajar di Malsis School di Cross Hills, Ermysted's Grammar School dan Sedbergh School, ia mengambil jurusan Sastra Inggris di St Peter's College, Oxford dan lulus dari Arts University Bournemouth. Pada tahun 1997, ia mendapatkan nominasi Academy Award kategori Skenario Asli Terbaik untuk film The Full Monty. Ia menang Academy Award for Skenario Adaptasi Terbaik untuk film Slumdog Millionaire.[2]

Simon Beaufoy menyelesaikan adaptasi dari buku The Raw Shark Texts oleh Steven Hall, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen oleh Paul Torday,[3] dan adaptasi terbaru The Full Monty untuk pertunjukkan drama.[4]
