Robbie Amell
Robert Patrick Amell IV (lahir 21 April 1988) adalah aktor dan produser asal Kanada-Amerika Serikat. Dia dikenal karena berperan sebagai Stephen Jameson di seri The CW, The Tomorrow People, sebagai Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm di The Flash, sebagai Nathan Brown di Upload, sebagai Fred Jones di film Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins dan Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster, dan film The Hunters sebagai Paxton Flynn, The DUFF sebagai Wesley Rush, dan The Babysitter sebagai Max. Kehidupan Awal sunting
Amell lahir di Toronto; Dia merupakan putra dari Jo (Burden) dan Rob Amell, yang bekerja di bisnis perhiasan.[2][3][4] Sepupu pertamanya adalah aktor Arrow, Stephen Amell.[5] Bersama dengan saudara perempuannya, ia mulai menjadi model dan berakting dalam peran kecil dalam iklan saat ia berusia enam tahun. Pada usia enam belas tahun, ia mulai mendapatkan peran dalam drama sekolah menengah seperti Louis and Dave and Fionia, Picasso at the Lapin Agile dan The Importance of Being Earnest. Kecintaannya pada akting membuatnya pergi ke Canadian Studios Acting Academy. Dia lulus dari Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute di Toronto pada tahun 2006. Dia kemudian mengejar karirnya di dunia akting.[6]
Kehidupan Pribadi sunting
Amell mulai berkencan dengan aktris Italia Ricci pada Juli 2008.[7] Pasangan itu bertunangan pada 20 Agustus 2014, dan menikah pada 15 Oktober 2016.[8] Amell dan Ricci menyambut anak pertama mereka, seorang putra, pada 12 September 2019; mereka menjadi warga negara Amerika Serikat pada Januari 2020.[9]
Amell adalah penggemar tim hoki es Toronto Maple Leafs, meskipun sejak pindah ke Los Angeles, Amell mulai mendukung untuk Los Angeles Kings, tetapi masih menyebut Toronto sebagai "tim kedua". Dalam wawancara tahun 2015, Amell membahas dukungannya untuk tim NHL kedua di Toronto melalui perluasan liga.[10]
