Jean Rochefort
Jean Raoul Robert Rochefort (bahasa Prancis: [ʒã ʁɔʃ.fɔʁ]; lahir di Paris, 29 April 1930 - 9 october 2017) adalah pemeran berkebangsaan Prancis yang meniti kariernya selama lima dasawarsa.
Latar belakang sunting
Rochefort lahir di Paris, Prancis.[1] Dia menyelesaikan pendidikannya di Lycée Pierre Corneille Rouen[2] Usianya baru 19 tahun ketika mulai meminati seni peran dan terlibat dalam Centre d'Art Dramatique de la rue Blanche. Selanjutnya, dia bergabung di Conservatoire National. Tahun 1953, dia bekerja untuk Compagnie Grenier Hussenot sebagai aktor teater selama tujuh tahun. Di sana, dia bermain drama dan komedi. Kemudian dia beralih ke dunia hiburan televisi sebagai pemeran dan sutradara.
Setelah mendukung produksi Cartouche, Captain Fracasse dan Merveilleuse Angélique, Jean Rochefort bermain sebagai pemeran utama bersama Annie Girardot berperan sebagai istrinya, dan Claude Jade sebagai anak mereka dalam film Hearth Fires tahun 1972. Di film drama ini, dia berperan sebagai seorang lelaki yang tinggal bersama keluarganya selama sepuluh tahun

Tahun 1980-am, dia mencoba bidang lain dengan menjadi narator untuk Welcome to Pooh Corner dalam versi bahasa Perncis, menggantikan Laurie Main. Langkah ini juga semakin membuatnya populer di dunia anak-anak, sehingga Disney memintanya mengisi suara untuk beberapa film klasik. Tahun 1990-an, dia kembali ke profesi lama sebagai komedian bersama Les Grands Ducs dan dua pemeran lainnya, Philippe Noiret dan Jean-Pierre Marielle.
Dia juga memainkan karakter dalam film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, disutradarai oleh Terry Gilliam. Rochefort hanya sedikit belajar bahasa inggris sehingga disayangkan beberapa produksi mengalami hambatan. Beberapa bulan dia mencoba terlibat dalam film dokumenter Lost in La Mancha, namun mengalami kegagalan.
Tahun 1960 dia menikah dengan Alexandra Moscwa, dikaruniai tiga anak; Marie (1962), Julien (1965) dan Guillaume. Rochefort dan aktris Nicole Garcia, jua punya anak, son Pierre. Di pernikahan kedua ini, dia memiliki dua anak; Louise (1990) dan Clémence (1992).
