Ceolwulf II dari Mercia

Ceolwulf II (wafat sekitar tahun 879) adalah raja Mercia independen terakhir].[1] Ia meneruskan Burgred dari Mercia yang digulingkan oleh Viking pada 874. Masa pemerintahannya umumnya tertanggal 874 sampai 879 berdasarkan pada daftar masa pemerintahan Mercia yang memberikannya masa pemerintahan lima tahun. Namun, D. P. Kirby berpendapat bahwa ia mungkin memerintah paa awal 880an. Pada 883, ia digantikan oleh Æthelred, Tuan Mercia, yang menjadi penguasa Mercia dengan dukungan Alfred Agung, raja Wessex.[2][3]
