Berangkat dari hal tersebut makalah ini berusaha untuk memaparkan beberapa hal pokok yaitu: siapakah bangsa Kurdi, dimanakah keberadaannya, keistimewaan dan kelebihan dari bangsa kurdi tersebut. Dalam proses sejarah, Bangsa Kurdi selalu mengalami berbagai macam penindasan yang menyebabkan label sebagai bangsa besar yang tersingkirkan melekat erat di dalam dirinya.
 
Sistematika pembahasan dalam makalah ini adalah:
# Pendahuluan berupa pengantar dan sistematika makalah.
# Mengenal Bangsa Kurdi, dalam bab ini dipaparkan mengenai: sebutan Kurdi, struktur geografis Bangsa Kurdi, dan ciri-ciri suku Kurdi yang dapat diteliti dari agama, bahasa, dan mata pencaharian mereka. (3) Keistimewaan Bangsa Kurdi yang dapat diteliti dari tradisi keilmuan dan kebudayaan Kurdi.
# Kelemahan Bangsa Kurdi, dalam hal ini akan dibahas secara ringkas mengenai beberapa sub bab sebagai identifikasi kelemahan bangsa Kurdi, yaitu: bangsa tanpa negara, frustasi memperjuangkan kemerdekaan, friksi dan penindasan, dan satu bab khusus mengenai penindasan bangsa Kurdi.
