Ia merupakan sutradara dari film James Bond tahun 1999, [[The World Is Not Enough]]. Pada tahun 2008, ia lantas menerima gelar Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George atas jasa-jasanya pada kemajuan perfilman Inggris.
