Efraín Ríos Montt
José Efraín Ríos Montt (pengucapan bahasa Spanyol: [efɾaˈin ˈri.os ˈmont]; 16 Juni 1926 – 1 April 2018)[1] adalah seorang politikus dan perwira Guatemala; ia menjabat sebagai Presiden Guatemala dari 1982 sampai 1983. Ia adalah seorang jenderal angkatan darat pada masa jabatannya, setelah kudeta pada 1982. Pemerintahan militernya mempraktikan pelanggaran HAM berskala besar dan perebakan teror penumpasan pemberontakan terhadap kaum petani. Ia memerintah pada sebagian besar, tetapi pada bagian-bagian ketegangan dalam Perang Saudara Guatemala, yang berlangsung sampai 1996.
