David Gerrold
David Gerrold (lahir 24 Januari 1944)[1][2][3] adalah seorang novelis dan penulis naskah fiksi ilmiah Amerika yang dikenal karena naskah buatannya untuk episode asli Star Trek "The Trouble With Tribbles", untuk pembuatan ras Sleestak di serial TV Land of the Lost,[4] dan untuk novelettenya "The Martian Child", yang memenangkan Penghargaan Hugo dan Penghargaan Nebula, dan diadaptasi ke dalam sebuah film tahun 2007 yang dibintangi oleh John Cusack.

Masa kecil sunting
Gerrold lahir dengan nama David Jerrold Friedman[5] dari sebuah keluarga Yahudi[6] pada 24 Januari 1944 di Chicago, Illinois.[1] Ia masuk Van Nuys High School, Los Angeles Valley College, dan San Fernando Valley State College (sekarang California State University, Northridge).[7]
