Beth Moore
Wanda Elizabeth "Beth" Moore (lahir 16 Juni 1957 dengan nama lahir Wanda Elizabeth Green) adalah seorang penginjil, penulis dan guru Alkitab asal Amerika Serikat. Ia adalah pendiri Living Proof Ministries, sebuah organisasi berdasarkan Alkitab untuk perempuan yang berbasis di Houston, Texas. Pelayanannya berfokus untuk membantu kaum perempuan yang ingin mendasarkan hidup mereka pada prinsip-prinsip Kristen.[1]

Ia dilahirkan di markas tentara Green Bay, Wisconsin, dan dibesarkan di Arkadelphia, Arkansas, di mana ayahnya memilii sebuah gedung bioskop. Beth adalah anak keempat dari lima anak, semuanya bekerja pada gedung bioskop itu sejak usia muda.
Pendidikan sunting
Moore meraih gelar sarjana political science dari Southwest Texas State University, di mana ia menjadi anggota organisasi Chi Omega, dan mendapatkan gelar doktor kehormatan dalam bidang humanitas dari Howard Payne University.
Keluarga sunting
Beth menikah dengan Keith Moore pada tahun 1978.[1] Mereka mempunyai dua anak perempuan, Amanda dan Melissa.[2] Kedua putrinya itu, bersama menantunya Curtis Jones, bekerja bersama ibu mereka pada Living Proof Ministries.[3]
